Polymeric Jointing Sand
Polymeric jointing sand is an amazing product to fill the joints between pavers and stones. EasyJoint sets in air and is applied with water. It is great for use in the rainy Pacific Northwest winters. Easy Joint is also permeable even after it sets. HP NextGel and Gator G2 Maxx polymeric sands both set with water and creates a barrier to help prevent weed growth and insect infestations.

Pedestal Systems
Pedestal systems are an alternative method to setting down large format or timber decking. They’re a great option for rooftop decks or pedestrian walkways because they allow you to create an even surface over uneven installation surfaces, such as pipes or other rooftop systems that make it impossible to lay a traditional sand set or mortar installation. We carry BlackJack Pedestals in both the OneStep series, and the ScrewJack series. The OneStep series has a fixed height with 20 mm and 40 mm extensions available. The ScrewJack series is perfect for installations where a significant amount of height is needed. These pedestals can elevate slabs from as low as 100 mm (3.9 in), up to 1000 mm (39.4 in), and can withstand over 3000 lbs.

Edging
Paver edging is critical to ensure that pavers stay in place over time.
B.E.A.S.T.
BEAST is a rigid plastic edging option that’s perfect for straight lines and available in lengths of 8′. Connected “spokes” hold the plastic in a line, but these can also be cut to allow BEAST to be used for curves. It has an “L” shaped cross section and is secured in place with 10” steel spikes (sold separately). Edging is laid after the pavers are installed along the outside of the pavers.

Fabric and Textiles
Landscaping Fabric:
Landscaping fabric, or weed barrier, is a plastic fabric that can be used when setting down pavers to help prevent weeds growing between the pavers. The fabric allows air, water, and nutrients to pass through and is particularly helpful when laying a gravel walkway or drainage area to minimize weed growth.

Hardscaping Textiles:
Geotextiles can be used in a number of different applications for hardscaping. With pavers, fabrics are most often used in permeable installations. Woven textiles are typically used to help separate soil from your gravel base layer, which allows for better drainage. We also carry Inbitex Geotextile which helps filter the water runoff by providing a refuge for microbes that aid in breaking down pollutants and other contaminants. Fabrics are also used in retaining wall applications. Woven or non-woven fabric can be used to separate soil from your gravel base and backfill, as well as help prevent excessive water from soaking into the backfill from the soil. We offer geogrid textiles in 4 ft and 12 ft widths. These grided fabrics are used in between courses of retaining wall blocks to reinforce the wall and prevent blocks from shifting over time.
Most of our hardscaping textiles are available by the square foot and can be cut to length. We also carry landscaping fabric and geogrid in smaller, more manageable rolls.
