Backordered Product:
The Pavingstone Supply team takes pride in its ability to deliver the right products – on time. Occasionally a problem may occur with your order, usually based on vendor supply, transport, or quality control issue, and is out of our direct control. We will endeavor to give you as much advance notice of any delay or issue with your particular order as soon as we know the facts and can plan accordingly. Please note the following:
If a product and/or a portion of your order is not immediately available or back-ordered from our vendor, you can choose from the following alternatives:
- Postpone your delivery in its entirety until all of the order is complete and ready to reschedule shipment.
- Take delivery of the partial order and pick up the balance out of our Will-Call department when the product has arrived.
- Arrange for a 2nd delivery of the back-ordered product which will be charged according to our standard delivery rates.
- Cancel the delivery and pick up the entire order from our Will-Call department.
If for any reason, you do not contact us in return regarding an issue with your delivery/product, Pavingstone Supply will automatically deliver your product to you even if the product portion is back-ordered or otherwise not immediately available and will assume that Option #2 (above) will be in effect, given that Pavingstone Supply has called the phone numbers listed and has notified you by message.
Driver Safety:
We attempt to foresee any issues that a delivery site may pose, but this is not always possible. Once on site, the driver may decline to complete a delivery for any safety or logistic concerns. The driver has final say on safety or suitability for delivery. If we cannot deliver to the desired location on site, we may attempt a nearby secondary location. If there is no suitable location for delivery, we cannot refund the delivery fee, though we are happy to reschedule a delivery.
Efflorescence:
Efflorescence is a whitish powder-like deposit of calcium carbonate that may appear on concrete products. It is a by-product of the hydration process and is inherent in all concrete products. It will usually wash or wear off in the course of time. If you do not wish to wait for the natural process to occur, cleaners designed specifically for removal are available. Efflorescence in no way affects the integrity of the product and is not a cause for rejection.
