Pennsylvania Bluestone: Irregular Flagstone

About:
Bluestone is one of the most common and sought-after natural stones in the hardscape and landscaping industry. A layered sandstone found only in Pennsylvania and New York, it’s named after the distinct blue-gray color that beautifully compliments the rainy Pacific Northwest. We carry a wide selection of Bluestone products; as a natural stone, please note that there is natural variation in the texture, cut, and color.
For irregular flagstone, we stock large, stand-up patio-grade flagstone that’s perfect for patios and pathways, as well as smaller, tumbled “garden path” pieces that are suitable for pathways. Our stand-up flagstone runs 1.5 in to 2 in thick, whereas the tumbled Garden Path Bluestone is around 2 in thick with soft, rounded edges. We regularly stock full color Bluestone (ranging from muted browns to blue-gray), but can special order “true blue.” Please note that special orders might increase the lead time.
