Bluestone is one of the most common and sought-after natural stones in the hardscape and landscaping industry. A layered sandstone found only in Pennsylvania and New York, it’s named after the distinct blue-gray color that beautifully compliments the rain Pacific Northwest.

For stairs and treads, we stock beautiful solid pieces of 6 in Bluestone “nursery step” risers in both 3 ft and 4 ft lengths. We also stock smooth-surface thermal finish tread pieces in varying lengths and widths. Please call for sizing availability and note that special order sizes might increase the lead time.
